Permanent Makeup Artist, Salisbury – Practising since 2012

I came to permanent makeup the way most people find the thing they were always meant to do. I had my own brows tattooed, laid on that couch myself, felt that particular mix of nervousness and hope, that I now recognise in every single person who walks through my door, and I just knew.

I was already a beauty therapist. I’d always been an artist, so it just felt perfect for me. It clicked into place so clearly.

Then in 2012 my dream became my passion & my purpose.

Since then I’ve built a practice in the heart of Salisbury where people often travel quite far to visit me. Some come from across Wiltshire. Some jump on a train from London, Wales or Kent and I don’t take that lightly. When someone makes that kind of effort to have a treatment with me I’ll make sure it’s worth it.

I work across cosmetic and medical tattooing, and both matter to me equally. What they have in common is that people come to me because something about how they look is bothering them, and that bother is often not just about appearances. There’s usually something deeper underneath too. The woman who lost her brows to chemotherapy. The person who’s spent years feeling self-conscious before they’ve even left the house in the morning. The client who cries, not because anything went wrong, but because they finally feel like themselves again.

Those moments are why I do this. Not the aesthetic results alone, though I care deeply about those too. It’s the transformation that happens in the person, not just on their face or body.

My approach is built around making sure you never end up with anything too strong, too dark or too far from what feels right for you. Fragile skin, mature skin, previously tattooed brows, these are the cases that challenge me most and are also the ones I love the most. Practising since 2012 gives you an instinct for what works and the confidence to say when something won’t.

From the first message you send me to the day you’re fully healed, and beyond if you keep your enhancement refreshed for years to come, I’m with you. No guessing, no uncertainty. Over the years  I have developed a failsafe system to ensure my clients receive a gold standard experience. I call this  my SERA Method™ and it ensures you are always safe, feel seen and heard and will have great results because we don’t proceed until we are aligned.

Outside the clinic I have a big, wonderful group of friends who keep my diary full and my face smiling. I dance because it’s the only time my brain genuinely switches off! It’s my version of meditation with upbeat music. I love animals, especially dogs, and I believe pretty firmly that kindness and a great song can solve most things.

I’ve also, after considerable thought, worked out the meaning of life.

It’s simply to enjoy the passage of time.

If that resonates with you even slightly, we’ll probably get on very well.

Sarah is very professional and clear and made me at ease throughout the entire process I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done, I am very impressed with the final result, I never thought I would feel as confident going out with less makeup
