Selection of makeup brushes for consultation

We cover your medical history, we discuss future-proofing your permanent makeup; I talk you through the whole procedure to make sure you’re completely comfortable with everything that’s going to happen.

You can ask as many questions as you like because it’s important that you feel assured that you have been given every piece of information to allow you to go away and make an informed decision as to whether treatment is right for you.

We also discuss things that you may not have even thought about that are important for the future, and we also talk about long-term care. I also patch test to make sure you’re not allergic to any of the products used. I also take a before picture, then I draw on the area to be treated, then I take an after picture and then show you the difference between the two, and if you’d like a copy of those I can give you that to take away with you, so you can think about it further if you want to!

Drawing on the area that’s going to be tattooed at a consultation, also gives you the chance to see my level of artistry and make sure that I understand exactly what it is that you want.

If at the end of the consultation you want to think it all through further that’s absolutely fine, I encourage that, you should feel 100% sure before going ahead with any treatment.

Consultations usually last for about ¾ hour and they cost £30, but that’s redeemable against your treatment if you go ahead. The reason I charge for consultations is that, as you can probably tell, I do put quite a lot of effort in, it’s not just a quick chat, they are very in-depth.

Distance consultations are free of charge and last approximately 15 minutes. Facetime or Skype consultations, by nature, can’t be as in-depth as a face-to-face consultation with me, as I’m sure you’ll appreciate, but the main areas to be checked are always covered so that I can ascertain if treatment is going to be right for you.

I always insist on consultation of some description before I see a new client, because there may be reasons why permanent makeup can’t be carried out for you on the day.

If that’s the case then it would be a completely wasted journey for you, for example, you might be on a medication and we hadn’t ascertained beforehand that it might have an effect on your treatment, or your skin may not be in the optimum condition to receive treatment, there are some key elements that must be discussed prior to treatment which is why a consultation is essential.

I sometimes ask for pictures to be sent through because there are some situations where permanent makeup might not be suitable, so again, I wouldn’t want you to waste time on a journey to come and see me only to find that I couldn’t treat you.

So, if you’re feeling excited about going forward with treatment and feel you may have found the right person to do the treatment for you, then please get in touch either by phone or email and I look forward to talking with you soon!
